Vote on Fees, (previously initiative 295) has officially qualified for the 2020 ballot, meaning it will most likely appear on the ballot as Proposition 117.

Here’s a statement from Colorado Rising State Action Executive Director, and one of the sponsor’s of Vote on Fees, Michael Fields:

“It’s official, Coloradans will get to vote on strengthening TABOR this November. State lawmakers have abused enterprise fees for years as a method to increase revenue and get around asking voters. It’s really simple, voters just want to be asked.”

More than 196,000 signatures were submitted to the Secretary of State on July 30.
